Go Green Alligators!!!

They are called the Green Alligators.  The team includes Griffin and Gannon, and cousins, Demi Dykstra, Lane Dykstra, Trey Bosman, and 2nd cousin Ryan Levein and some other kids!  We actually don't have Trey anymore because he broke his arm this week :(
Griffin and Gannon's first time on a team together.  Gannon's first time playing any YMCA sport.  They don't seem to mind playing together, Griffin even prayed the other night "thankyou God that Gannon could play good in the soccer game tonight."  It was pretty cute.  I think Griffin will always be looking out for his little brothers and sister.

Gannon is 4 (so he is a little young to be playing, but they let him anyways,) and Griffin is 6.
I think this is all they really want to do.  TACKLE TACKLE TACKLE!
Griffin keeps asking how old he has to be to play football!  So far soccer is going good this fall... we have only had one practice where it poured down rain the ENTIRE time!  Hopefully I will get some action shots during some of the games to post soon!

Wild deer and our little dear :)

Last night right after we put the kids to bed we looked out our window and saw two deer eating the apples on the ground around our apple trees in the back yard.
So we let Griffin and Gannon get up to see them... They were trying to sneak up on them, but the deer ran away.  Maybe someday they will be tame :)
And our little dear Tyra!  5 1/2 months old!  She is getting so big... rolls all over and scoots around.  I don't think it will be long before she is crawling!  Part of me is excited and happy and part of me is sad that my baby is growing up so fast.  However, I feel like I know so many people that are pregnant right now... and I am DEFINATELY happy I am not in that stage of my life anymore!
She is really into her feet and toes and shoes right now, and wants everything in her mouth!  She absolutely LOVES real food!  Cannot get enough of it!
She hasn't had an ear infection in over 3 weeks... I should knock on wood right now b/c she has been sneezing the last couple of days... and if it is actually a cold, more than likely it will turn into an ear infection!  But I am keeping my fingers crossed and praying about it lots.  She is still super easy going and does great in her carseat which she is in a lot of the time with having to run to school, soccer, and errands.  Can't believe soon she will be 1/2 a year old!  Weeks are flying by!
